Invited to speak
HRNK, the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea, has published research for decades. But its website was built about 15 years ago, and every update had to be made by hand through cPanel. Publishing was slow, and years of research were hard for new readers to find.
A move to WordPress
We migrated the site off hand-edited cPanel files and onto WordPress, so the team can publish without touching code.
An archive rewritten for search
We rewrote and restructured decades of reports with SEO in mind, so each one can be found on its own.
Publishing the team owns
New reports now go live through the WordPress editor instead of a file manager.
Traffic grew 20×. HRNK’s research is now cited by Wikipedia, and HRNK was invited to speak at the United Nations.
